I was also present at the GC/Central game. Gate City is very good, but remember WC is down this year, and played that game minus their starting point guard.
Austen Arnold is the most complete player I've seen so far. Silky smooth, explosive, and great defender.
Andrija from Twin Springs has the most upside of anyone around here though. He lacks the ability to shoot well, but he has the quickest first step I've seen around here in a long time. That kid is amazing though, foreigner or not.
WC may be down and played without their starting PG, but so did GC. Bird would have had a very good season and was a big loss to the Devils.
As for the TS player. They really haven't played anyone yet.
"They (Miami) told me I wasn't big enough to play running back,'' said Ryan Williams with a snicker. "And they tried to offer me as an athlete or wide receiver."
I dont give a crap if they are "down" or not they where 4-1 when GC pulled into town. We are the real deal, just get over it.
Easy killer. That score is misleading is all I'm saying. Gate City is very good and that is undeniable.
Agreed that TS hasnt played a tough opponent yet, and I'm in no way commenting on them as a team. Stajovich is one of the better plays around, and will be against everyone. He's busting with potential.
Well I don't know about all that, TS has played Union twice and Union is not bad at all.
TS beat Union at Union too, not an easy game IMO.
But TBH, I believe the big kid, Firsch or whatever, is TS' best player. He has a silky smooth stroke, athleticism, and the ability to put the ball on the floor and get to the basket. He is one of the toughest players to guard in Region D.
Nice to see you posting again BTW!

#11 is Dylan Jenkins who is a Sophomore. Great vision indeed. Made a killer behind the back pass up at Abingdon in the paint which Andy Arnold finished with a layup. Had everyone fooled.
